Tayberry 

Cross between raspberry and blackberry Medana this is a virus free strain, capable of very good yields with a delicious sweet Loganberry taste. A consistent grower and fruiter and most popular. The best and easiest of the hybrid berries, although not suitable for the coldest areas.  Fruits are delicious.  Fruits on second year wood, so they should ideally be grown like summer raspberries, on wire supports but can also be trained against a wall.

Soil: Fertile, well-drained soil with plenty of humus
Position: Crops best in full sun, but tolerates partial shade.  Can grow along a wall.

Keep: Freezes well
Hardiness: Frost-hardy (Not overly cold areas though)
Pollination: Self-fertile
Uses: Eating, cooking, juicing and preserving
