Stable Tours

Due to the popularity of Supreme Horse Racing, we now run a door to door service where we organize everything for people who want to get a taste of what to expect when joining the syndicate. Listed below is our itinerary so you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the experience

  • We will collect you from your home and drive you to the airport - Tickets are arranged for a flight to Dublin
  • We arrange transportation from Dublin to Willie's yard - When at Willie's yard, you will have a full tour and get the chance to meet either Willie or his esteemed team
  • We then take a drive to meet Ken Parkill who is the top breeder in Ireland, so we are sure to see several good new horses on the gallops - Accommodation is already booked, so after an enthralling day you can relax and enjoy the evening
  • The following day we head to a race meeting so you can take in the atmosphere, and with any luck we might have a club horse running that day - After the race meeting we make the trip back home as seamless as possible

Dates and length of trip are completely optional, so please contact us via the form on our Primary Website for more details and pricing.

COSTS INFORMATION

What do I get when I agree to join Supreme Horse Racing? Once you decide what percentage share you require and which horse, we will email a copy of the rules and information on payments. Once you have returned all of the information and paid the first fee you will receive your certificate of ownership and a password to the members area

How long do the shares last for? It's a minimum one year contract. However, it's entirely up to you, as long as you are enjoying the ownership it will continue. If for any reason your circumstances change we would not hold you to it as it's all about the enjoyment of being involved in a successful club

When are payments due? Accounts will be completed 1st May when the season ends. All monies due are paid at month end

What happens if there is a fatality? Sadly, that's the risk in racing. However, we guarantee to issue new shares for the next available horse at no extra cost

What happens to the prize money when my horse wins? All prize money is paid into your account after the 1st of May when the NH season ends

Do I receive the share prize money advertised in the daily papers? The prize money shown does not include the deductions that are taken off by the racing authorities. The trainer and jockey each get 10% and there are three levies to pay i.e. The Injured Jockey Fund

Do I get entrance into the racecourse when my horse is due to run? Yes, you will receive one owners badge which allows you access into the parade ring before and after the race. You will meet the trainer and jockey and get their thoughts on the race. You also have automatic access into the private trainers and owners bar

How can I find out when my horse is due to run? Apart from the plethora of information in the members area i.e. reports/live chatbox you will also receive a text message once your horse is declared for a race (normally 5 days before the race)

Can I go to watch any of the Supreme horses run? Yes absolutely, we welcome as many people to come along as possible to cheer them home, and it also helps to meet other members and experience the huge buzz when a horse enters the winners enclosure

What's in the members area? Live chatbox, Jockey reports - a synopsis of the last race, race replays - trainer reports on every horse and they are available to every owner, so you know first hand on each and every syndicate horse.

Our Team

RUBY WALSH - Born 14th May 1979 in Kill Ireland, Ruby has ridden over 1900 winners including our very own Hats and Heels at Naas in her 1st hurdle race. Ruby has won 106 grade 1's and 32 Cheltenham winners. Ruby had a 39% strike rate for supreme horse racing in our 1st season with victories on Piqué Sous and Zuzka to name just a few. It's great having the very best jockey in the business. He is now working full time for Willie and regularly gives his advice on all of our horses.

PATRICK MULLINS - Patrick has already won the Cheltenham champion bumper and leading amateur title in Ireland for the last 6 years winning over 150 races and 132 bumper winners so you can not get any one better on one of our new young horses. Patrick has a very good eye for a horse just like his dad and helped Supreme Horse Racing in sourcing Zuzka and Letherbelucky. It was fantastic for Patrick beating Ireland's long running amateur record of most winners in one season (74) and he broke the record on our very own Zuzka. It was an immensely proud day for both the Mullins family and our club

PAUL TOWNEND - Born 15th September 1990 in Cork, Ireland. Paul is a very much up and coming star, and he won his 1st Irish jockey championship in 2011. He's based at Closutton every day and is an integral part of Willie's set up and regularly rides out our horses and provides invaluable feedback

DAVID CASEY - David was born in County Waterford and is a keen Liverpool fan, but we will not hold that against him!.David is a regular down at willie's and is one of the best judges of a horses ability, and especially when a horse is ready to run. With 17 grade 1 wins he is a real asset down at Closutton.

KATIE WALSH - Katie is the daughter of Ted and sister of Ruby. She has been around horses all her life, Katie has had great success winning at Cheltenham, and her crowning moment in 2012 was an impressive 3rd in the Grand National on her father's horse Seabass, which is the highest finishing position in history for a lady jockey. Katie had her very 1st winner for the club on Bluemountainbeach who was bred by Jackie Mullins

EMMET MULLINS -Emmet is the son of George Mullins and has already had success at Cheltenham on board Sir Des Champ, and that was quite possibly the ride of the festival in 2011. With over 50 winners so far another great rider for Willie to call upon

DANNY MULLINS - Danny is one of the up and coming riders down at Closutton. He is the son of Tony Mullins and knows horses inside out. He already has huge success on the track.Danny is a very good dual purpose rider winning over 50 races on the flat, and at such a young age undoubtedly has a very bright future ahead

DECLAN LAVERY - Born in Downpatrick 1993 in County Down Declan has already crossed the winning line at a very young age, and his impact ensures a big future. He had his first ride at Cheltenham on Supreme Carolina back in November which I am sure helped him when he returned at the festival. Declan rode our exciting Chiltern Hills into 4th place at the Punchestown festival in the premier fillies bumper and I am sure he ride many more of ours in the future
