We specialise in homemade foods including Sausages, Black Pudding and White Pudding each made to their own special recipes. Delicious!!
We are delighted with the recognition our products have received. In 2012 we secured three Blas na hEireann awards including a Gold medal for Best in Farmers Markets, Silver medal for our Black Pudding and an award for Best Emerging Kerry Food Producer. In 2013 our white pudding won the Irish Champion in the prestigious Fins Goustiers (European Championship) in France.
Using locally sourced pork and our own family recipes, we produce in an old-fashioned, artisan sort of way. Our sausages are 93% pork, and the vegetables and herbs we grow ourselves. We use gorse flower — furze bush as we call it down here — which is dried and used in the black pudding, like John-Pauls grandmother used to do. We also use wild garlic in the spring time.
The latest Flavours of Sausages are Regular, Honey and Mustard, Garlic and Herb. Our award winning products are available at various Farmers Markets. We can be found in the Killarney Outlet Centre on Fridays and on Saturdays we are in Tralee opposite the Brandon Hotel and also at the Limerick Milk Market in Cruises Street.
