Hi! Welcome to Paul Mc Laughlin Plant Hire & Construction. We are Building Contractors based in Buncrana Co. Donegal, specialising in all aspects of Building work and Groundworks from the foundations right up to the top of your chimney. We cover all the areas of Donegal and Derry and guarantee you a top quality finish each and everytime on every project we take on.

Here at Paul Mc Laughlin Plant Hire & Construction, we have a large range of plant hire diggers from 0.5 tonne to 13 tonne and dumpers from 0.5 tonne to 9 tonne, track and wheeled 17m telescopic, 20 yard roll on roll of hook skip. We take on all groundwork’s aswel as all building work, which include - site clearance, new builds from start to finish, schools, extensions, all building renovations and everything else in between.

Demolition - Demolition is the dismantling, razing, destroying or wrecking of any building or structure or any part of it. Demolition work involves many of the hazards associated with construction. However, demolition involves additional hazards due to unknown factors which makes demolition work particularly dangerous. We can look after all this type of work for you, as we are trained to do so, don't try to do this yourself or you could get badly injured.

Renovations - When we take on a renovation project, it involve changes to an existing building from the renovation, remodeling, or renewal of a structure, including partial demolition and reconfiguration or replacement of interior partitions. Mica testing - We will be able let you know if your property was built during high-risk years and if it was built in a known affected area, we will also know the warning signs and cracking patterns that could indicate the presence of Mica.

Wall coring - Concrete coring is the process we provide of removing cylindrical sections of concrete from a wall or structure. Coring is most often performed on building walls, floors, and ceilings.

Foundations - The foundations are a very important part to any building, they sit between the building and the ground, making it the lowest part of the structure. It distributes loads from the house to the soil, and it is integral that it is strong enough to withstand the entire weight of the building, so this needs to be done right by a team of experts, look no further then Paul mc Laughlin Plant Hire & Construction.

Drainage - Although mostly hidden under the ground properly carried out groundworks and drainage are vital in ensuring there are no unwanted and costly complications in the finished project. We have the knowledge and experience to design suitable groundwork solutions drainage system’s whatever your project, be it a new driveway, lawn, carpark or any other drainage work you need sorted, we can get it done for you.

Kerbing - Kerbing is a highly durable, beautiful decorative border for driveways, lawns and flowerbeds etc and we can install them in a range of shapes, styles, colours & sizes to suit your personal requirements.

Rock breaking - We use a rock breaker to manipulate large rocks, including reducing large rocks into smaller rocks. They are typically used in the mining industry to remove oversize rocks that are too large or too hard to be reduced in size by a crusher. Rock breakers consist of two major components, a hydraulic hammer (used to break rocks) and a boom (the arm).

Fencing - We provide an excellent affordable fencing service that we can guarantee a high standard finish at all times. We always aim to work with you and within your budget.
