About

Hi, my name is Konor Halpin, I provide family/children's entertainment. I cater for parties, weddings and family occasions. An example of my roles are as follows: - comedian - drunken waiter - disco/karaoke - clowns/ magicians - children’s entertainment - puppet shows - balloon modeling - face painting.

I also provide Drama classes and voice and speech coaching for adults and kids. I am dedicated to providing the very best entertainment that I can to you the party goers of the World. I think BIG and I will be delighted to make your event, party, or launch historic and one you will be proud of.

My entertainment career began in the Post Office where I entertained customers and I have carried on ever since I left there in 1985. Twenty-six years later I am still going strong

Speciaiity acts are also available and include stilt walkers, fire breathers, treasure hunts etc.

Murder Mystery evenings - Always a hoot. Let us organize your next one. A fun-filled evening of mystery and suspense guaranteed to make the night last forever!

School shows - I provide a wide range of entertainment for schools including Magic for schools, Last One Spelling competitions. Puppet Shows Karaoke and Discos, Creative Drama Classes and Guitar lessons. School references are available for all activities.

School Retreats also available to include biblical drama and song

Science Shows - Wacky scientist Dr. Funsome Burner will get you experimenting in the classroom with hilarious and amazing results.

Also Treasure Hunts, Fashion Shows, Comedy shows, Laurel and Hardy walkabout characters.

My Drama Classes Comprise of:

Making up plays about a central idea that the teacher will discuss with the pupils. This can involve the whole class for smaller children and groups of up to 6 for older pupils, giving them a more integral part of the play.

Acting out smaller sketches again with prompting from the tutor.

Being aware of their speech, getting them to pronounce properly and being heard by projecting their voices.

Singing will also form part of the drama with pupils singing together to boost confidence and give them a sense of working as a group/team.

I will also include mime, acting out scenes with just gesture, movement, and facial expression.

Reading aloud will be part of the process as well to encourage children not to be afraid when called upon to read. This will also develop their fluency of speech and aid their vocabularies, learning new words and their meanings.

The classes will be structured on a school term basis they will last for approximately 1 hour.

I can provide 30 to 45-minute slots for younger children up to 7 years old also.
